Vibe.co, Paris, is seeking a Performance Engineer to own reliability across the production stack—prediction serving, the bidding engine, pacing, and delivery. You will define SLOs, build observability, and lead on-call practices as part of a tight seven-person team.

You’ll reduce p99 latency, optimize the serving path, and collaborate with data scientists to ship robust models. The role supports a hybrid Paris-based schedule with relocation/visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience operating latency-sensitive services in production.
• Strong Kubernetes and cloud fundamentals.
• Experience with observability: metrics, tracing, logs.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code and CI/CD.
• Comfort owning systems you didn't design; strong ownership.

Responsabilités

• Own reliability across the production stack: prediction serving, bidding engine, pacing, and delivery.
• Define SLOs, implement observability, and manage on-call.
• Reduce p99 latency and optimize replicas without sacrificing latency.
• Work on the data layer (Redis) for real-time serving and caching strategies.
• Stress test end-to-end in staging and manage capacity/cost growth.
