Job summary

Equans recherche un Designer de projets solaires pour concevoir et optimiser des fermes solaires utilitaires à grande échelle près de Guyancourt. Vous rejoindrez la division Photovoltaïque et Stockage et assurerez la coordination électrique et la conception.

Avec un diplôme en génie électrique et une expérience solide (8–10 ans), vous maîtrisez AutoCAD, PVcase, Cymcap, Etap et PVsyst, et vous saurez diriger et mentoriser des équipes tout en gérant les interfaces techniques et les partenaires

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in electrical design coordination for large-scale infrastructure.
• Expertise in electrical architecture sizing, AutoCAD drawings and design coordination.
• Experience in value engineering for large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in utility-scale solar projects (>50MWp) a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project site constraints (terrain, wetlands, flood zones, etc.).
• Design pre-construction layouts using AutoCAD (+PVcase, AddOn) and sizing software.
• Assess energy production with PVsyst modelling.
• Optimize design parameters: Electrical Architecture, Civil Design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate new and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical support for interconnection applications and EPC contracting.
• Communicate project status updates and reports.
• Lead and mentor team members.

Solar & Storage Solutions for Energy Efficiency | Equans

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage project site constraints (terrain, wetlands, flood zones, etc.)
• Design pre-construction layouts using AutoCAD (+PVcase, AddOn), Electrical Sizing Softwares (Cymcap, Etap), and assess Energy Production using PVsyst modelling Software
• Optimize project return by modifying design parameters: Electrical Architecture, Civil Design, etc....
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Evaluate new and emerging technologies
• Provide technical support for interconnection applications and EPC contracting
• Clearly communicate project status updates and reports
• Lead and mentor team members

The profile we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's preferred.
• At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design coordination and development of large scale infrastructure projects (energy, transportation, others...) incl. control command and SCADA
• Expertise in electrical architecture sizing, AutoCAD drawings and design coordination
• Strong understanding of power plant design principles and associated electrical architecture
• Experience in value engineering for large scale projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in utility-scale solar projects (>50MWp) would be a bonus
