Doctolib is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to join the ATP team in the Application Platform Domain. You will design and deliver backend components powering Doctolib services, focusing on Python and cross-cutting concerns in a cloud-native platform.

You will work in a feature team in an agile environment with product, design and business partners, and participate in system design, coding, testing and monitoring to ensure performance, security and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Primarily a backend engineer with expert Python skills.
  • Fluent in English and able to work in an agile team.
  • Experience in designing scalable, secure services.

Responsabilités

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement features for the Doctolib platform.
  • Lead within the team and contribute to a technical vision ensuring performance, security, and usability of the platform.
  • Bring your expertise to help improve implementation, testing, and monitoring of high-quality features.
  • Improve performance of key features implemented in Python, sometimes challenging the status quo.
  • Take leadership on delivering roadmap items with the team.
  • Co-drive creation of the roadmap for upcoming quarters.

We are looking for a Python Senior Software Engineer to join the ATP team in Application Platform Domain.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to work on designing and delivering essential components that empower Doctolib teams to build robust and scalable services. You will be working in a feature team developing the chassis, archetypes, business-agnostic services, cross-cutting concerns and Claude Plugins.

You will be working in a platform feature team developing the Python and Java/Kotlin chassis, project archetypes, business-agnostic services, cross-cutting concerns (resilience, security, observability…) and Claude Plugins, used by more than 60 services across Doctolib.

Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve the Doctolib platform
  • Take a leading role within the team and contribute to establishing a technical vision that ensures the performance, security, and usability of the platform, taking into account the future needs and the high scalability needs
  • Bring your expertise and experiences to help us continuously improve the way we implement, test, and monitor high-quality features
  • Improving the performance of key features implemented in Python, sometimes completely challenging the status quo
  • Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items (together with the team)
  • Contributing to establishing a technical vision and co-drive the creation of the roadmap for next quarters

  • You are primarily a backend engineer with expert knowledge of Python
  • You have a solid understanding of web technologies and software development life cycle

  • You are fluent in English

  • have experience with Kafka and Kubernetes
  • have experience with ADK and ML libraries
  • have experience with Java or Kotlin
