L'Ingénieur(e) Logiciel Senior, Technologie Avancée est un(e) contributeur( trice ) individuel(le) hautement expérimenté(e), responsable du développement, de l'intégration et des tests logiciels pour les prototypes de technologie avancée et les preuves de concept soutenant la robotique chirurgicale et les applications orthopédiques numériques. Ce rôle se concentre sur la conception et l'implémentation pratiques de logiciels embarqués, applicatifs et de contrôle pour les technologies fondamentales et les évaluations de faisabilité précoces. Ce poste collabore étroitement avec le Responsable Logiciel, les ingénieurs systèmes et tests, ainsi que les équipes de contrôle, mécanique, électrique et clinique, afin de traduire les exigences des prototypes en composants logiciels robustes et fonctionnels, avec un encadrement limité. Ce rôle favorise des cycles d'apprentissage et d'itération rapides, typiques du développement de technologies avancées en phase précoce, et apporte une contribution technique aux décisions d'architecture logicielle. Bien que ce rôle ne développe pas directement de produits commerciaux, il applique de bonnes pratiques d'ingénierie logicielle, des normes de qualité de code et une approche fondée sur le risque aux logiciels de prototypage et de preuve de concept. The Senior Software Engineer, Advanced Technology is a highly experienced individual contributor responsible for developing, integrating, and testing software for advanced technology prototypes and proofs of concept supporting surgical robotics and digital orthopedic applications. This role focuses on hands‑on design and implementation of embedded, application, and controls software for foundational technologies and early feasibility assessments.
This position partners closely with the Software Lead, systems and test engineers, controls, mechanical, electrical, and clinical teams to translate prototype requirements into robust, working software components with limited guidance. The role drives rapid learning and iteration cycles typical of early‑stage advanced technology development, and provides technical input into software architecture decisions.
While this role does not directly develop commercial products, it applies sound software engineering practices, code quality standards, and risk‑based thinking to prototype and proof‑of‑concept software. Responsibilities include designing and implementing algorithms, integrating sensing and control components, defining and executing unit/integration test strategies, and documenting software behavior and known limitations.
This role requires strong hands‑on coding, debugging, and design skills, the ability to work independently across ambiguous early‑stage concepts and experimental platforms, and comfort operating in a fast‑paced, agile environment where priorities may evolve and rapid pivots may be required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: €48.700,00 - €79.350,00
