Modash is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Search team to scale search over 400M+ creator profiles and billions of media files. You will own end-to-end retrieval, embeddings, and low-latency serving within a fast-moving, remote-first environment.

You will collaborate with Data Core, Data Insights, product teams, customers, and leadership to turn ambiguous problems into production-ready features, balancing cost, latency, and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale data or backend products.
• Shipped products from concept to production.
• Designed distributed systems with attention to throughput and reliability.
• Experience with LLM-powered features in production is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Improve creator search across 400M+ profiles and billions of media files, focusing on retrieval, ranking and speed.
• Develop embeddings and multimodal data pipelines for search quality.
• Move promising approaches from experiments to reliable production systems quickly.
• Own end-to-end system design, deployment, and measurement.
