Job summary

Lemonway, a licensed payment institution, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Account Tribe in Paris. You will design and implement compliant, scalable backend services, lead architecture reviews, and drive collaboration across squads focused on compliance and platform reliability.

With 5+ years of experience, you will work in a hybrid setup, bridging technical and business value, and mentoring peers to uphold engineering excellence in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Deep knowledge of DDD, Hexagonal architecture, CQRS, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong experience with NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, complex backend features for payments compliance systems.
• Lead code and architecture reviews, enforcing Tribe practices and architectural decisions.
• Mentor peers to raise engineering standards and share best practices.
• Own products from specification to production, addressing client issues in production.
• Collaborate with software, QA and infra engineers and product managers.
• Translate complex architectural decisions into clear insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in hybrid work setup with office, home, and nearshore teams.
• Balance independent problem-solving with guiding teammates and solution orientation.
