Datadog is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and scale foundational architecture, synthesizing large technical datasets into structured knowledge and building AI-driven components. The role focuses on reliable systems for automated modifications with a hybrid work model to support work-life harmony.

You will own features end-to-end, work through ambiguous problems, and ensure reliability and observability of shipping software. 6+ years of experience and Go proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
• BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Go.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience using AI coding tools in daily workflows.
• Bonus: Kubernetes, workflow orchestration, or AI agents.
