Doctolib is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Database to join the Nantes engineering team. You will design, build and maintain core infrastructure databases to scale for hundreds of thousands of concurrent users, automate deployment and maintenance, and improve monitoring and incident response.

You will collaborate with DBAs, SREs and platform teams to empower product teams and ensure high reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience on a production platform, ideally at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with datastores such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, or Couchbase.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Ruby, Python, Go, Java, etc.) and IaC.
• Fluent in English.
• Nice-to-have: monitoring/observability tools and troubleshooting complex environments.

You will:Design, build and maintain core infrastructure databases that allow Doctolib scaling to support hundreds of thousands of concurrent users.* Automate deployment, scaling, and maintenance of databases to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency,* Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to identify and address potential issues before they impact both practitioners and patients,* Provide documentation and tooling to empower the feature teams in their use of their databases, while ensuring their reliability,* Mitigate production database issues during working hours when the issue cannot be fixed by the responsible feature team,* Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the reliability and availability of our systems and processes.## **Who you are**Are you convinced that you have exactly what it takes for the position?
