Apple's SEAR organization invites a Senior Software Engineer to shape scalable security analysis platforms and bridge deep tooling with intelligent automation. You will architect pipelines, implement the platform layer, and integrate tooling across teams to streamline vulnerability research workflows.

You’ll work hands-on with containerized deployments, APIs, authentication, and AI-informed automation while collaborating with vulnerability researchers to turn complex data into actionable

Qualifications

• You will have strong software engineering skills across systems and scripting languages (Python, Swift, C/C++).
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, LLM-assisted analysis, or intelligent automation pipelines.
• Experience designing and building complex distributed systems or multi-component service architectures.
• Familiarity with containerisation, orchestration, and cloud or on-premises infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker) and modern DevOps practices.

Responsabilités

• You will design and implement the platform layer that connects individual analysis tools into coherent, automated pipelines.
• You will consider system architecture: component communication, workload scheduling, results aggregation and researcher-facing surfaces.
• You will work hands-on with infrastructure: containerized deployments, service APIs, authentication, monitoring, and observability.
• You will collaborate closely with vulnerability researchers to shape the platform’s evolution.
