Amazon in France is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for AWS Transform Mainframe. You will lead architectural decisions and own features end-to-end, shaping roadmap and delivering secure, scalable solutions for modernization of legacy systems.

The role emphasizes mentoring teammates, driving engineering excellence, and collaborating across AWS teams to accelerate customer outcomes using GenAI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, analytics, math or IT.
• Mentor or tech lead experience in engineering teams.
• Proficient in Java, Python, C++, or C# with OO design.
• Professional software development experience (non-internship).
• Experience leading architecture and design of systems.

Responsabilités

• Design, estimate, develop, test, and maintain medium-to-large software components.
• Apply team development and release mechanisms with security/compliance.
• Troubleshoot and solve difficult problems ensuring reliability and performance.
• Perform technical assessments, code reviews for quality and scalability.
• Automate development, testing, and operations leveraging internal products and GenAI.
• Mentor teammates and onboard new developers.
