Telespazio Belgium is seeking a highly experienced Safety and Certification Engineer to join our team in Toulouse, France. The role requires eligibility for a security personal clearance from an EU Member State national security administration.

The successful candidate will monitor safety and certification compliance for EGNOS SoL services, maintain the safety case library, and collaborate with European space authorities and service providers throughout the lifecycle of safety-critical programs.

Qualifications

• Seniority level of at least 10 years relevant to the tasks.
• Monitor and verify the continuous compliance of EGNOS SoL services against applicable safety, certification, and regulatory standards.
• Define, maintain, and update certification requirements for system and service evolutions, ensuring proper implementation during design, development, operations, and service provision.
• Maintain the Design Safety Case documentation library and associated compliance evidence.
• Support safety management activities, including safety reviews, safety assessments, non-conformance evaluations, and safety governance meetings.

Responsabilités

• Support the maintenance of safety cases and oversee the implementation of service provision plans throughout the service lifecycle.
• Liaise with stakeholders involved in SoL service provision and certification activities, including EUSPA, ESA, EASA, the European Commission, and EGNOS service providers.
• Assist in fulfilling Design Organisation responsibilities, including maintaining Statements of Compliance and interactions with certification authorities, particularly EASA.
• Support the demonstration of compliance with SES regulatory requirements for approved Design and Production Organisations.
