Chubb, a world-leading insurance company, seeks an experienced Engineer to provide professional engineering advice to the Natural Resources & Construction underwriting and claims teams. The role focuses on risk assessment of erection, construction and operation of large conventional power plants and supports Continental Europe, the Middle East and North Africa regions from Paris, France.

You will deliver technically advanced recommendations in line with CHUBB’s processes, build tools for risk

Qualifications

• Experience providing engineering advice to underwriting and claims teams.
• Ability to evaluate risk exposures and provide loss estimates.
• Strong communication skills for risk and technical information.
• Knowledge of technical lines risk engineering and best practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide risk management advice to underwriters and claims teams.
• Develop tools to deliver cost-effective risk reduction for CHUBB.
• Maintain professional engineering knowledge in relevant areas.
• Strengthen internal and external stakeholder relationships to uphold CHUBB credibility.
• Plan visits within technical risk management programmes with underwriters and insureds.
• Drive continuous improvement in team workflows and processes.
• Educate and train broader teams to support underwriting and claims.
