C12 Quantum Electronics in Paris is seeking a PhD-level quantum physicist to join the Qubit Control team. You will design and execute DC and microwave experiments in dilution cryostats, develop scalable workflows, and collaborate with theory and software groups to advance a spin-qubit based quantum processor.

We value hands-on experience with quantum experiments, Python proficiency, strong scientific standards, and clear English communication.

Qualifications

• PhD in quantum physics or closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with quantum experiments (qubits, DC transport, microwave spectroscopy).
• Fluent Python and ability to use it to control experiments and analyze data.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Design, calibrate, and optimize DC and microwave experiments in dilution cryostats with high-frequency control electronics.
• Develop scalable measurement and analysis workflows with reproducibility and increasing autonomy.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve device performance.
• Work with theory team to connect observations with physical models.
• Collaborate with software team to execute automation roadmap as we scale toward a QPU.
• Deepen understanding of spin qubits in carbon nanotubes within high-impedance cQED architectures.
