YOUR MISSION

In a context of rapid growth, transition to industrialization, and deployment of new production equipment, you will build, lead, and continuously develop Zadient’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment function.

This strategic position is intended to safeguard the site’s long-term development, anticipate regulatory requirements, control industrial risks, and strengthen QHSE capabilities across all teams.

QHSE function leadership and development
  • Define, deploy, and lead the site’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policy in line with Zadient’s strategy and growth.
  • Build and structure the QHSE function, its document management system, processes, KPIs, and reporting to Executive Management.
Industrial risk control and support for industrialization
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and control of industrial risks associated with processes, equipment, facilities, and site developments.
  • Integrate QHSE requirements from the design, investment, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases of new equipment.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and safety studies for new processes, products, and industrial equipment in order to prevent incidents, accidents, and business interruptions.
Regulatory compliance and institutional relations
  • Ensure the site’s HSE regulatory compliance and organize the associated regulatory monitoring, particularly regarding ICPE requirements and developments related to Zadient’s industrial activities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for inspection bodies and competent authorities: DREAL, Labour Inspectorate, CARSAT, Occupational Health Service, SDIS, etc.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on inspections, regulatory audits, and exchanges with supervisory authorities.
  • Support the qualification of new processes, equipment and products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, customer requirements and industrial readiness objectives.
Quality and continuous improvement
  • Gradually prepare the company to obtain and maintain relevant certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, in line with the company’s strategy.
  • Implement and lead quality processes suited to a rapidly evolving industrial and R&D environment.
  • Support teams in controlling operational risks and continuously improving their practices.
  • Coordinate customer, supplier, and certification body audits.
QHSE culture and team capability development
  • Develop and promote a pragmatic, shop-floor-focused QHSE culture embraced by all departments.
  • Raise awareness, train, and support employees and managers on quality, safety, environmental, and risk management matters, and develop their capabilities.
  • Lead the DUERP (French Occupational Risk Assessment Document), risk assessments, prevention plans, and follow-up of related actions; analyze incidents, accidents, and hazardous situations, and implement corrective actions.
Candidate profile
  • Master’s degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in engineering, QHSE, HSE, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in a QHSE role within an industrial environment, with significant exposure to industrial risks and process development.
  • Experience in the semiconductor, advanced materials, chemical, industrial equipment, or process industries would be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of French regulations on occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and industrial facilities; a strong command of ICPE requirements is essential.
  • Ability to build a function and processes within a growing organization, work in project mode, and manage multiple priorities with pragmatism, agility, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Leadership, influencing, and prioritization skills in a developing environment.
