Hard Rock Digital seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automated testing across web, mobile, and API stacks. You’ll design and maintain Playwright/Python and Appium tests, leverage AI to speed up test creation, and ensure quality across releases within a fast-paced, scalable environment.

You will mentor the QA team, drive automation roadmap, and collaborate with developers and product owners to improve testability while embracing best practices and robust CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing (API, Playwright and Appium frameworks).
• Proficiency in Python is essential.
• Strong understanding of the testing pyramid and where tests belong.
• Experience developing AI skills and using AI tools in testing.
• Experience with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow.
• Deep knowledge of QA principles, standards and best practices.

Responsabilités

• Apply testing pyramid principles to determine automation coverage.
• Design, implement, and maintain UI automated tests for web (Playwright/Python) and mobile (Appium/Python).
• Design, implement, and maintain API automated tests in Python.
• Use AI tools to accelerate test development and maintenance.
• Identify, own, and drive architectural changes for QA.
• Collaborate with QA to prioritize automation areas and create a roadmap.
• Provide code review guidance to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Mentor QA team members and ensure cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Document automated test scripts, frameworks and processes.
