Intervest Offices & Warehouses NV in France seeks a Senior Property Manager to take full ownership of the French logistics portfolio. You will oversee the external property manager and ensure safety, sustainability and regulatory compliance across sites nationwide.

Travel across France is required, with a strong compliance mindset and the ability to make independent decisions. You will report to the Country Director France and support energy-efficiency initiatives and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in property management or related field.
• Proven ability to manage external service providers.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel across France; driving licence required.
• Strong regulatory knowledge of French building regulations (ICPE, fire safety, EPC).

Senior Property Manager France

We are looking for an experienced Senior Property Manager to take full ownership of our French logistics portfolio.

You will oversee and critically assess the work of the external property manager across a portfolio of logistics properties spread throughout France. With a strong compliance mindset, you ensure that all buildings meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability and regulatory requirements. You work autonomously, travel regularly across the country and are comfortable making decisions independently.

You are the key link between Intervest and the external property manager, ensuring accountability, quality and cost control at every level.

Job tasks

• Manage, steer and critically assess the performance of the external property manager across the full French portfolio.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections across France, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety, environmental and building regulations.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with French regulatory requirements, including fire safety, ICPE, BREEAM and energy performance obligations.
• Review and challenge budgets, quotations and service charge settlements prepared by the external property manager.
• Act as Intervest’s on-the-ground representative in France for property management, supplier coordination and project follow-up.
• Support and collaborate with colleagues on sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives across the portfolio, including BREEAM certification and regulatory compliance tracking.
• Report directly to the Country Director France.
• Take responsibility for correct quarterly service charge settlements to tenants, in collaboration with the PA accounting team at headquarters.

Job profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in property management, facility management or asset management, preferably in logistics or industrial real estate in France.
• Strong compliance and regulatory knowledge of French building regulations (ICPE, fire safety, EPC, environmental obligations).
• Proven ability to work autonomously and manage external service providers with a critical and results-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel frequently across France; a driving licence is required.
• A strong communicator who works with respect and trust, and is comfortable operating independently across geographies.
• Able to manage a team in case of further growth.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with property management software (e.g. Yardi) is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
