Hitachi Energy in Massy, Île-de-France, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large EPC projects in the energy/industrial sector, ensuring execution aligns with policies, contracts, quality, HSE, budgets and schedules. You will oversee execution planning, risk management, and coordination with Supply Chain, Construction and Commissioning, driving contract and claims management.

Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience managing large EPC projects in the energy or industrial sector.
• Skilled in navigating complex contractual setups with clients and partners.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple teams.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• PMI Certification will be an added value

Responsabilités

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities.
• Ensures the project follows Health & Safety, Environment policies.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders; main customer contact and escalation point.
• Defines project plans with Project Controls: scope, financials, schedule, risk management; monitors progress and resources.
• Contract management per Hitachi Energy policies; manages invoicing status, costs, expenses and cash flow.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain Management for services, materials and equipment; supports negotiations and changes.
• Coordinates with Construction & Commissioning to deliver construction, installation and commissioning on schedule.
• Drives formal project close-out and acceptance by the customer.
