Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager for APM to own strategy and drive execution across Distributed Tracing, Performance Analysis, and Intelligent Troubleshooting. You will guide AI-driven features, mentor PMs, and collaborate with engineering, design, and executives in a hybrid Paris-area setting.

You will shape product direction, balance customer needs with a fast-growing roadmap, and be responsible for adoption, retention and business impact metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Product Manager in developer-focused SaaS or infrastructure.
• Experience leading production-level AI projects with ML-driven insights.
• Prior engineering experience or deep expertise in modern software/distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder influence.
• Highly customer-focused, detail-oriented and quality-driven.
• Thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments; mentoring experience a plus.
• Experience shaping roadmaps with AI, prototyping and customer validation.
• Bonus: cloud apps, tracing, performance analysis, microservices, or profiling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and long-term vision for a core area of APM.
• Lead strategic conversations with design partners and key customers.
• Define and drive delivery of next-gen APM features with leadership.
• Make complex traces and system behavior understandable and actionable.
• Set direction across engineering, design, and partner PM teams.
• Partner with marketing, sales, customer success and support for GTM.
• Mentor and guide other product managers to raise the bar.
• Own adoption, retention, and business impact metrics for the product area.
