Jobtailor in Lyon, France, seeks a Senior Product Designer to shape product vision and drive end-to-end experiences across desktop and mobile. You will work in a product trio with a PM and Engineering Lead, turn insights into decisions, and apply AI thoughtfully to deliver human-centered, trustworthy interfaces.

You will own discovery through delivery, partner with cross-functional teams, and elevate design craft with robust interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer, Senior UX Designer or similar role.
• Strong product thinking linking design decisions to user and business outcomes.
• Experience owning a product area or significant initiative from discovery through delivery.
• Experience designing for multiple devices (responsive web and mobile).
• Experience in AI-assisted, automation-driven, or intelligent product experiences.
• Experience in agile, cross-functional product teams (product trio).
• Ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions.
• Strong facilitation, storytelling, and communication skills.
• High bar for design craft: IA, visual design, prototyping, accessibility, systems thinking.
• Practical experience using AI tools in design workflow.

Overview

• Shape product vision and strategy by framing meaningful user and business problems, identifying opportunities, and translating them into clear experience direction for your product area.
• Own end-to-end product experience from discovery through delivery, designing complex journeys, interaction flows, states, edge cases, and scalable solutions across desktop and mobile experiences.
• Work as part of a product trio with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead, helping the team make better decisions through user insight, evidence, strong facilitation, and clear design direction.
• Lead discovery and learning by using research, analytics, customer feedback, product usage data, and market context to deeply understand employees, managers, admins, and frontline workers.
• Apply AI thoughtfully by exploring where AI, automation, intelligent workflows, or AI-assisted interactions can create meaningful value — while keeping the experience human-centered, trustworthy, accessible, and easy to understand.
• Use AI and modern tools in your own practice to improve your design process, accelerate exploration, increase quality, and help your team work more effectively.
• Facilitate alignment by running workshops, presenting concepts, documenting decisions, and helping stakeholders converge around clear product and design choices.
• Raise the bar for product experience by contributing to design quality, coherence, accessibility, system thinking, and better ways of working across the product organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer, Senior UX Designer or similar role, with strong end-to-end UX and UI skills.
• Strong product thinking, with the ability to frame problems, connect design decisions to user and business outcomes, and make sound trade-offs in ambiguous situations.
• Experience owning a product area, complex feature set, or significant product initiative from discovery through delivery.
• Strong experience designing for multiple devices, including responsive web- and mobile experiences.
• Experience designing AI-assisted, automation-driven, or intelligent product experiences.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams, ideally as part of a product trio with Product Management and Engineering.
• Ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights — including research, analytics, customer feedback, and product usage data — to inform decisions.
• Strong facilitation, storytelling, and communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and influence product direction through evidence and clear reasoning.
• A high bar for design craft, including interaction design, information architecture, visual design, prototyping, accessibility, and systems thinking.
• Practical experience using AI tools in your own design workflow, and curiosity about how AI, automation, and intelligent product experiences can create value for users.
• A portfolio showcasing strong product thinking, complex problem solving, end-to-end design work, and measurable impact.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with business-level fluency in English.
