Job summary

VEGA Investment Solutions in Paris seeks an experienced portfolio manager to execute strategy under mandate and manage client portfolios. You will join a global team, analyze equities, select securities across Europe and the US, and participate in UCITS and arbitration discussions.

You will ensure compliance with investment processes and risk controls while handling client proposals, reports and new business with bankers. Travel is expected in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• With a higher education, you have at least 10 years of experience in similar positions and notably in portfolio management (OPC, GSM, consulting and quantitative research).
• You master: Personalized management under mandate; the commercial and educational aspect; financial markets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize VEGA IS strategy in portfolio management and contribute to the content of its publications.
• Actively participate in management committees: analysis of equities and selection of European and American securities, UCITS committee involvement.
• Contribute to decision-making on arbitration and monitor portfolio performance.
• Ensure compliance with investment processes and risk controls in relation to client objectives.
• Manage the entire customer relationship: appointments, investment proposals, reports, and client acquisition with bankers.
• Provide necessary market elements to support team for investment proposals and tenders.
• Participate in customer and prospect events.
