Qdrant, a remote-first open-source vector search engine, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform team. You will design and evolve core platform services, write production-grade Go and Python code, and drive platform improvements used by multiple engineering squads.

You’ll own cross-team initiatives like gRPC migrations, eventing foundations, and control-plane components, focusing on reducing complexity, improving developer productivity, and enabling scalable cloud deployments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with platform/infrastructure focus.
• Proficiency in Go and Python, or strong expertise in one and comfortable in the other.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and API design.
• Experience building and operating production systems used by other engineers.

Responsabilités

• Design and evolve core platform services and internal APIs used by multiple teams.
• Drive architectural initiatives such as gRPC migration, eventing foundations, and platform refactors.
• Own and improve control-plane and cluster-api components.
• Build platform abstractions that reduce operational and cognitive load for other teams.
• Write production-grade Go code for platform services and internal tooling.
• Collaborate with Regions & Clusters, Resilience, and Features teams to enable delivery through platform primitives.
• Improve platform scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
