Job summary

Ubisoft Entertainment Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join the global network team in Paris. You will install and maintain core IT solutions, drive improvements, and resolve complex issues for partners while mentoring junior staff.

You will define standards, monitor capacity, and push automation to improve efficiency. The role is based in our Saint-Mandé offices with a strong吃 focus on security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Network Administrator.
• Expert level in routing technologies (BGP/OSPF).
• Expert level in switching technologies (VLANs/STP/EtherChannel/VTP).
• Proven ability to resolve complex infrastructure problems.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers.
• Deploy private network links and dedicated peering.
• Define standards, guidelines and metrics; drive automation adoption.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and secure network infrastructure and services.
• Maintain documentation and provide user support.
• Mentor junior admins and contribute to planning of network evolution.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The infrastructure department of our global network team is seeking a Network Administrator who can bring their expertise to life in our dynamic team of gaming & tech enthusiasts.
As Senior Network Administrator, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining IT solutions and services as well as proposing improvements and optimisations to the current infrastructure. As a senior administrator, you will also be responsible to solve complex issues brought to us by our partners

Mission

Key tasks related to the mission include:

• Install and maintain various network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers;
• Deploy and maintain private network links and dedicated peering;
• Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design and standards;
• Participate to the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics as directed;
• Drive adoption of automation to enhance operational efficiency and consistency
• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services;
• Enforce network security policies and procedures;
• Perform proactive network capacity management activities;
• Maintain documentation regarding network hardware and software;
• Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design and standards;
• Answer user’s query and service requests;

Tasks

• Act as a mentor and point of reference within the team, particularly with new administrators;
• Contribute to the planning of the evolution and expansion of the network & systems;
• Optimize network performance;
• Carry out all other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive experience as a Network Administrator
• Expert level in routing technologies such BGP and OSPF;
• Expert level in switching technologies such as as VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VTP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 switching protocols
• Expert level in developing techniques and methodologies to resolve unprecedented problems or situations

Nice to have

• Strong expertise in automation using Python and Ansible, with hands‑on experience in CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of other infrastructure concepts like Cloud Network knowledge ( AWS,AZURE)

• Ability to make complex information accessible and understandable.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and proactively flags governance or prioritization concerns to maintain operational clarity and focus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
