Dematic in Île-de-France seeks a graduate mechanical engineer to drive detailed engineering for conveyor systems. You will define conveyor technology, safety devices, and maintenance platforms while coordinating with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities include creating BOMs, SAP purchase requisitions, installation drawings, and site support both remotely and on site. Strong English and teamwork are essential; travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with Master's or Bachelor's in mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of professional experience or fresh graduates welcome.
• Experience in project engineering (intralogistics preferred).
• Experience in mechanical design (materials handling preferred).
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a team; structured, systematic, results-oriented.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• NX and Teamcenter knowledge.
• Navisworks knowledge.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsabilités

• Creation of the approval layout for the customer design freeze.
• Safety assessment of the project scope and measures.
• Create detailed concepts and integrate into approval layout.
• Material flow review based on sales layout and products.
• Define interfaces with other trades.
• Define access areas for service and maintenance.
• Define escape and transport routes.
• Definition of required special designs.
• Ergonomic assessment of workstations.
• Preliminary mockup design of the workstations.
• Measurement recording at the customer site.
• Engineering support in customer meetings.
• Detailed definition of conveyor technology (drives, speeds, rollers).
• Detailed planning of maintenance platforms and stepovers.
• Detailed planning of safety devices.
• Create technical specifications for purchased components; coordinate with supplier.
• Final mockup design of workstations with customer coordination.
• Create BOMs for ordering Dematic conveyor technology.
• Generate purchase requisitions in SAP.
• Create data lists for hardware controls planning.
• Create installation drawings.
• Handover to installation team.
• System risk assessment and CE safety inspection at customer site.
• Installation support remotely and on site.
• Engineering support for supplier FAT.
