Interstellar Lab in Paris is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for biospheric technologies. The role involves full product lifecycle management, from prototyping to production.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering, over 6 years of experience, and strong expertise in CAD design tools such as Onshape, SolidWorks, or CATIA. Come and contribute to innovative projects that benefit both Earth and space.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing.
• Expertise in CAD design and large assembly management.
• Solid understanding of materials and mechanical analysis.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical design from concept to production.
• Develop 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure integration and serviceability.
• Optimize designs for industrialization and coordinate with manufacturing partners.
