Amadeus is seeking a Senior Manager Building & Facilities to lead operational and strategic management of its France office portfolio, totaling approximately 75,000 m² across Alpes-Maritimes, Île-de-France and Strasbourg. The role focuses on safe, sustainable, high-performing workplaces and regulatory compliance.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage external partners, and drive cost optimisation while supporting employee experience and business continuity across multiple sites.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in facilities management within a complex, multi-site environment.
• Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams in an international/matrix organisation.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards and building regulations.
• Experience managing external providers, service contracts and supplier performance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee facilities and infrastructure management across multiple office locations.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings, technical installations, and shared spaces.
• Drive space planning, refurbishment and workplace optimisation projects.
• Lead energy optimisation and environmental performance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, accessibility, environmental and building regulations.
• Support business continuity planning and facilities-related risk management.
• Manage and develop internal teams, and align across sites.
• Negotiate with external service providers and manage contracts and SLAs.
• Develop and monitor annual facilities budget and report on costs and progress.

The Building and Facilities Manager is responsible for the operational and strategic management of Amadeus’ key office locations in France, covering approximately 75,000 m² across the Alpes-Maritimes, Paris region and Strasburg.

The role ensures safe, efficient, sustainable and high-performing workplaces that meet Amadeus standards. It focuses on maintaining regulatory compliance, optimising costs and supporting employee satisfaction and experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Facilities and Infrastructure Management
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for buildings, technical installations and shared spaces.
• Ensure the reliability, safety and operational performance of site infrastructure.
• Lead space planning, refurbishment, renovation and workplace optimisation projects.
• Lead energy optimisation and environmental performance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, accessibility, environmental and building regulations.
• Support business continuity planning and facilities-related risk management activities.
• Team Leadership and Management
• Lead multidisciplinary internal teams, through their respective managers.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Set objectives, monitor performance and support the professional development of managers.
• Promote effective communication and alignment across teams and sites.
• External Partner and Contract Management
• Manage relationships with external service providers, including cleaning, security, catering, landscaping, maintenance and construction partners.
• Lead contract negotiations and ensure appropriate commercial and operational outcomes.
• Monitor service-level agreements, key performance indicators and contractual commitments.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and lead corrective actions and continuous improvement plans when required.
• Ensure that suppliers comply with company policies, safety requirements and sustainability standards.
• Budget Management and Reporting
• Develop, manage and monitor the annual facilities budget.
• Identify cost-optimisation opportunities while maintaining service quality and employee satisfaction.
• Produce regular reports on operating costs, service performance, compliance and project progress.
• Provide data-based recommendations to support facilities investment decisions and workplace strategy.

The Ideal Candidate

• Significant experience in facilities management, property management or workplace services within a complex, multi-site environment.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an international and matrix organisation.
• Strong experience managing stakeholders, external providers, service contracts and supplier performance.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex facilities projects, including renovations, workplace transformations and infrastructure improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment standards and building regulations.
• Strong collaborative leadership and team-development skills.
• Budget-management and reporting capabilities.
• Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building or Construction, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent French and English.
