Viridien in Massy, France is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who bridges data engineering with production-grade AI systems. You will deploy and fine-tune LLMs, build robust data pipelines, and orchestrate multi-model workflows to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You will lead with strong coding skills (Python/C++/R/Java), work across teams, and mentor juniors while advancing AI capabilities for real-world resources, energy, and infrastructure challenges.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong programming skills in one or more of C/C++/R/Java/Python.
• Advanced understanding of LLM/VLM architectures, post-training methods (fine-tuning, RL), and evaluation pipelines.
• Experience in data and system engineering for large-scale model workflows.
• Proven experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch).
• Fluent with tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, Trae, Gemini CLI, Claude Code, or Codex.
