Job summary

Daiichi Sankyo is seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Data Warehousing/Server Management in France to lead server strategies and data delivery for Clinical Data Management. This role oversees EDC integration, dashboards, and data standards compliance within a global framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, data science, bioinformatics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in clinical data engineering.
• Strong expertise in Python, ETL frameworks, SQL, and automation development.
• Experience with AWS, R Shiny, AI/ML, Rave APIs, MySQL, Python, and Tableau.
• Familiarity with Electronic Data Capture Systems such as Medidata Rave.
• Knowledge of CDISC data standards (SDTM, ODM) and 21 CFR Part 11.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the BDM server, solutions, operational improvements, and services strategy for the department.
• Lead initiatives with cross-functional impact and operational support.
• Manage direct reports, including the development, coaching, and mentoring of team members.
• Contribute to the overall clinical systems strategy, roadmap, future plans, and infrastructure development.
• Engage with the Systems committee to assess and/or implement changes for efficiency, compliance, and operations.
• Foster strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders and drive results.
• Participate in audits/regulatory inspections to provide program-level information.
• Mentor, oversee, and train new team members.
• Promote values and a quality workplace culture and collaborate in cross-functional settings.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process, technology, and quality improvements.
• Proactively identify risks and mitigation approaches.
• Establish metrics to measure efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Identify and engage in process automation initiatives.
• Lead EDC system patches, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Develop scalable data harmonization and interoperability solutions.
