Circana is seeking a JavaScript Developer with strong web scraping expertise to design and maintain large-scale data collection applications. You will work on end-to-end development, ensure robustness, and optimize performance in a microservices architecture.

Ideal candidates have experience with NestJS, Puppeteer, PostgreSQL, and distributed systems, and can collaborate across time zones to deliver high-quality scrapers that adapt to changing sites.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of demonstrable JavaScript design and development experience using NestJS and ORM
• Proven hands-on experience building production web scrapers in JavaScript including headless browser automation with Puppeteer
• DB knowledge is a must, preferably PostgreSQL with queries and optimization
• Hands-on experience in building REST APIs
• Agile Scrum experience required
• Azure Cloud experience preferred, but proven cloud experience required

• Independently design, code, unit test and deliver testable user stories.
• Demonstrate solutions through documentation, diagrams, and clean code comments.
• Engage with stakeholders to develop interfacing specs and plan integration checkpoints
• Develop high quality applications that meet performance and scalability standards in a cloud platform
