Milliman in Paris is seeking a Senior Insurance Applied AI Engineer to establish and refine the business engagement and engineering capability within the Milliman AI Solutions practice. This role will connect actuarial insight, business consulting, and applied AI fluency to translate client workflows into AI-enabled opportunities.

The role requires 6–8 years in insurance or related fields, with experience in workshops, roadmaps, and solution framing, in a hybrid Paris environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or business field.
• 6–8 years of relevant professional experience in insurance, actuarial consulting, business transformation, or related fields.
• Experience supporting business development, proposal writing, client workshops, solution scoping, or transformation roadmap development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging senior leaders, SMEs, AI engineers and delivery teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build a new capability within a fast-evolving AI Solutions practice.

Responsabilités

• Internal & Client AI Business Engagement: shape opportunities, run diagnostic workshops, develop proposals and use-case portfolios.
• Workflow Mapping, Redesign & Expert Knowledge Capture: map current insurance workflows, design AI-enabled target processes, capture expert knowledge into AI-ready artifacts.
• AI Solution Co-Design & Enterprise Tool Enablement: design practical AI-enabled solutions with business experts and engineers; advise on enterprise AI tool ecosystems; define success measures and handoff materials.
• Expected Capabilities & Tooling Fluency: map insurance workflows, collaborate across domains, understand enterprise AI tools and agentic systems.
