Zusammenfassung

Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks an experienced designer for structural substation work. You will generate detailed electrical layouts, elevations, and related drawings, relying on AutoCAD, MicroStation, and standard drafting practices.

Travel for project support is required. Candidates should have at least five years in structural substation design and a degree in drafting or design, with strong knowledge of CAD tools and civil/structural standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of five years of experience in structural substation design or related field.
• Associate's Degree in Drafting & Design required; senior levels possible with more experience.

Aufgaben

• Produce new drawings from standards and prior project examples.
• Create high voltage substation layouts, elevations, conduit and grounding drawings.
• Calculate cable lengths, structure heights, weights, and ground grids per IEEE/NESC as required.
• Prepare substation bill of materials with part numbers and quantities.
• Ensure work meets defined schedules and review quality with project team.
