A leading search firm in France seeks a transformation-minded HR leader to redefine HR practices across four manufacturing sites. You'll centralise and modernise HR, standardise processes, and partner with Operations to support growth. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of HR experience, with 5 years at a senior level in manufacturing, particularly in automotive. Fluency in French and English is essential. This role focuses on HR digitalisation, stakeholder management, and compliance with French labour laws.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in HR, with 5+ years at senior level in manufacturing.
  • Proven delivery of multi-site HR transformation and process optimisation.
  • Deep knowledge of French employment law and working with CSE/union bodies.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and LEAN/CI approaches.

We’re hiring a transformation-minded HR leader to reshape how HR operates across four manufacturing sites in France. You’ll centralise and modernise HR, standardise ways of working, and partner with Operations and the executive team to deliver a scalable people model that supports growth, quality, and cost targets.

This position requires a strong grasp of automotive industry labour laws, employment relations practices, and a proven ability to work effectively with Works Councils and other employee representative bodies

What You’ll Do : -

  • Build a unified HR model : Standardise processes, policies, and tools across sites, introduce shared services / centres of expertise where it adds value.
  • Lead change at scale : Drive HR digitalisation, lean / continuous-improvement in HR, and robust communication & training plans for local teams.
  • Own : Act as the go-to for French labour law and social dialogue; manage CSE / union relationships, negotiations, and compliance with agreements.
  • Strengthen organisation & talent : Partner with site leaders on workforce planning, succession, leadership development, and engagement; ensure consistent hiring, onboarding, and learning.
  • Be a strategic partner : Advise senior leadership, align people plans with business goals, define KPIs, and report progress.
  • Coach the HR community : Develop and upskill local HR managers, embed a performance-driven, people-first culture.

What You’ll Bring : -

  • 10+ years in HR with 5+ years at senior level in manufacturing (automotive strongly preferred).
  • Proven delivery of multi-site HR transformation / centralisation and process optimisation.
  • Deep knowledge of French employment law, industrial relations, and working with CSE / union bodies; comfort operating within EU frameworks.
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS, HR analytics, and LEAN / CI approaches.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills; data-driven and outcome-focused.
