Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Senior HPC Systems Architect to design, develop, and test large-scale liquid-cooled HPC infrastructure, spanning GPU clusters, high-speed networking, and distributed storage.

You will lead architecture efforts, mentor engineers, define requirements, and evaluate new technologies, with presence in SF or SJ offices four days a week; flexible remote day on Tuesday.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing large-scale HPC/distributed systems
• Expert knowledge of HPC hardware including GPU clusters, InfiniBand/Ethernet
• Hands-on experience with direct-to-chip liquid cooling
• Proven benchmarks, capacity planning, and system validation
• Strong architecture, documentation, and technical specifications
• Ability to collaborate across teams to align solutions with business goals
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker with analytical skills

Responsabilités

• Design and architect HPC systems for large-scale workloads.
• Define system requirements and performance goals with stakeholders.
• Develop testing frameworks to assess performance and reliability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure.
