A consulting firm is looking for an HPC Engineer to support and optimize high-criticality computing environments. The role involves managing large-scale compute clusters, guiding users through application optimization, and enhancing operational reliability. Ideal candidates should have experience in HPC, proficiency in Linux, and knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and Fortran. The position offers a full-time contract with benefits, including health insurance and a flexible remote work schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in HPC or Scientific Computing.
• Comfortable with advanced technical support (L2/L3) in complex environments.
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale HPC clusters.
• Ability to interact with demanding stakeholders, rigorous, analytical problem solver.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced support and operations for HPC platforms.
• Manage large-scale compute clusters and supercomputers.
• Guide users through the execution, diagnostics, and optimization of their applications.
• Investigate application behavior using NVIDIA profiling tools and distributed debuggers.
• Contribute to performance tuning regarding GPU acceleration and storage I/O.
• Optimize storage access patterns, particularly on Lustre filesystems.
