Job summary

TotalEnergies Group is seeking a Senior Project Contract Engineer to provide high-level contractual support across development, tendering and execution phases for complex, international projects. You will advise on contracting strategies, develop tender packages and manage EPC contract execution, while identifying risks and ensuring governance and compliance.

The role requires deep experience in project contracts and strong French and English communication.

Qualifications

At least 20 years of experience in contract management, including 15 years within project teams.

Responsibilities

Advise project teams on contracting strategies and complex tendering processes.
Develop tender packages with commercial structures, terms and tender instructions.
Review, compare and normalize bids; consolidate technical and commercial recommendations.
Negotiate qualifications, exceptions and contractual provisions with contractors and suppliers.
Identify and mitigate contractual, financial and operational risks in project execution.
Support governance, procurement compliance, integrity and safety requirements.
Administer EPC contracts during execution.
Review contractual claims and define resolution strategies with project teams.
Manage selected claims and counterclaims; deliver improvements and lessons learned.
Prepare and present matters to contract and procurement governance committees.
Conduct contract reviews, audits and deliver corrective actions.
