Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages seeks a Senior Legal Counsel - Data Privacy Officer to lead the global privacy program, ensure GDPR compliance, and provide strategic legal advice on data, AI, and digital initiatives. You will act as DPO and trusted advisor to business stakeholders, reporting to the Head of General Counsel NWPB in Paris.

The role requires 5–8 years in data protection within multinational settings, strong GDPR expertise, and the ability to influence at all levels.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in data protection, privacy, and digital law within multinational organizations and/or law firms.
• Strong expertise in GDPR compliance, privacy governance, risk management, and regulatory investigations.
• DPO and/or CIPP/E certification is a strong plus.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Business partnering mindset with a pragmatic approach.
• High integrity, autonomy, and ability to operate in complex environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Provide practical legal advice on privacy, digital law, AI, and data-driven projects.
• Support projects from the design stage, ensuring privacy by design and DPIA processes.
• Draft, review, and negotiate data protection clauses, agreements, and related contracts.
• Conduct privacy audits and monitor remediation plans.
• Manage personal data breaches, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Lead interactions with regulatory authorities, including CNIL.
• Deliver training and awareness programs to strengthen the privacy culture across the organization.
• Manage outside counsel and service providers in this area.
