Betclic Group in Bordeaux is seeking a Senior GenAI Cloud Infrastructure engineer to build and operate the shared GenAI platform using infrastructure as code, with a strong focus on security, observability, and FinOps. You will shape deployment blueprints and drive data-informed decisions across teams.

You'll collaborate with Architects, Cloud & SRE, Security, and DevX, leveraging LangGraph/LangSmith, Terraform, and AWS services.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in Cloud, SRE, or Platform Engineering with hands-on AWS in production.
• Proficient with Terraform, CI/CD, and distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with AI tooling and observability in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the shared GenAI platform using IaC, including upgrades, security and access management, day-to-day operations, incident response, and internal support.
• Design turnkey infrastructure blueprints with security, observability, and cost control baked in from day one.
• Ensure end-to-end observability with logs, health metrics, LL.M requests, token usage and cost monitoring.

ENTER THE GAME

At Beclic, GenAI is embedded directly into the user journeys of our gaming platform, powering features such as the Betclic Assistant available to our players.

Within the GenAI Center of Excellence, the GenAI Cloud Infrastructure team builds and operates on AWS the shared platform that runs these production workflows. This platform includes a multi-provider LLM gateway, an agent observability platform, turnkey deployment blueprints, and a lab gateway for experimentation all across multiple environments.

AI tooling for developers is handled by another team. Our mission is to build the infrastructure that powers GenAI workflows for our players and business teams. We also embrace an AI-augmented way of working ourselves, using tools such as Claude Code and Codex.

Our ecosystem evolves every week and so do our plans when needed.

This position reports directly to the Head of GenAI Cloud Infrastructure.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be:

• Build and operate the shared GenAI platform using Infrastructure as Code, including upgrades, security and access management, day-to-day operations, incident response, and support for internal teams.
• Design turnkey infrastructure blueprints tailored to different use cases and requirements, with security, observability, and cost control built in from day one. One example is our Terraform module for deploying LangGraph agents.
• Ensure end-to-end observability of the platform, while providing application teams with complete visibility into their workloads through logs, service health metrics, LLM requests, token consumption, and cost monitoring.
• Make FinOps a core engineering practice, from the production platform to the infrastructure supporting experimentation and research.
• Drive data-informed technical decisions by evaluating future technologies and platform capabilities, including load testing, gateway routing and caching, self-hosted inference, fine-tuning, DeepAgents, and code execution sandboxes. For each topic, you'll define the problem, evaluate the available options, and provide well-supported technical recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Architects, Cloud & SRE, Security, and Developer Experience (DevX), while actively sharing your expertise across the organization.

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

For Senior candidates: you'll be expected to drive end-to-end architectural decisions, lead cross-functional technical initiatives, take ownership of key platform domains (such as FinOps or deployment blueprints), and mentor other team members.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with the GenAI ecosystem.
• Kubernetes (EKS).
• AWS Certification.
• Experience with LLM inference and fine-tuning.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Mathilde will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

You will then meet Julie, Gen AI Cloud Manager, followed by Jérôme, Head of Gen AI Center of Excellence.

Finally, Mathilde will welcome you for a final HR interview, during which you will debrief your AssessFirst test together.
