EPM Scientific is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a freelance 12-month project in Paris, focused on medical robotics software. Work involves image-guided technologies, surgical planning, and hardware interfacing within a regulated medical device environment.

You will design and build full-stack applications using Python and React.js, contribute to image processing workflows, and collaborate with robotics and clinical teams to advance neurosurgical navigation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Python and frontend development using React.js.
• Experience delivering full stack software in regulated medical environments.
• Background in medical device software, healthcare tech or robotics.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop software applications for surgical planning, navigation and robotic control.
• Build and maintain full stack apps using Python and React.js.
• Develop image processing and visualization functionality for neurosurgical workflows.
• Collaborate with robotics engineers to integrate software with hardware control systems.
• Contribute to navigation and targeting solutions using medical imaging data.
• Support software architecture, design, testing and deployment activities.
• Develop software in a regulated medical device environment.
• Participate in verification, validation and quality activities aligned with safety-critical development standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, robotics, biomedical and clinical specialists.
