Doctolib in Berlin invites a Senior Software Engineer to join the FIRE team, focusing on interoperability with the German health system. You will design and implement fullstack solutions, integrating EHRs across Europe while upholding stringent privacy and compliance standards.

The role requires 6+ years in software engineering with Kotlin and React/TypeScript, strong system-design skills, and experience with CI/CD and DevOps. Hybrid work and international collaboration are core to the position.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer with strong fullstack expertise in Kotlin and React/TypeScript.
• Proven track record building robust end-to-end solutions balancing technical excellence with intuitive user experiences.
• Experience designing systems and making architectural decisions in complex environments.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle: automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Able to operate in a multilingual European environment and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain integrations with governmental health services for Germany.
• Drive the national EHR integration with multi-country rollout considerations.
• Design, ship, and operate production-grade fullstack solutions connecting Doctolib to healthcare infrastructure.
• Partner with other engineering teams to shape the interoperability platform architecture.
• Ensure privacy, security, and compliance by design in a highly regulated domain.
• Own performance, observability, and reliability with dashboards and SLO/SLI.
• Contribute to Europe-wide interoperability strategy initiatives.
