Senior Full Stack Developer (Blockchain)

We work on a wide-range of technologies: web, mobile, AI, blockchain, cloud, microservices & middlewares, security & infrastructure, etc.

Slash has headquarters in Singapore and community-oriented R&D hubs in Phnom Penh, Bali, Yogyakarta, Jakarta and Bandung. We are a team of 50+ entrepreneurs, engineers, hackers, and full-stack developers with unique capabilities in web, mobile, AI, and Blockchain.

Role and responsibilities, and how will the role impact Slash?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer. This position will be a full-time contractorengagement with a minimum duration of 6 months temporary contract, with the possibility to extend. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the development team in building reusable and extensible services
• Advocate and practice agile principles in software development
• Design and build services with a focus on business value and usability
• Design systems with scalability and flexibility in mind
• Embrace and ensure “lean operations” for all systems
• Contribute in technical discussion or solutioning session
• Perform code reviews and encourage best practices
• Maintain user guides and technical documentations

Requirements: How do you know if you are a good fit?

• Strong understanding of Distributed Ledger Technology or Blockchain, and the use of Smart Contracts with actual development and implementation experiences, particularly on Ethereum and/or Polygon
• Proficient in programming languages like Solidity (hardhat, truffle), Python, Java and Java Script
• Good understanding of the cross-border trade, trade financing processes is an added advantage
• Experience with Cloud hosting or PaaS such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Heroku, Firebase, etc
• Write high quality and maintainable code on open-source (Linux based) web platforms and frameworks (Example: NodeJS, Angular, ReactJS, Go, etc.)
• Experience with both frontend and backend development from development to operation
• Experience with micro-service architecture
• Experience with at least 1 SQL and NoSQL database
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Excellent written and communication and skills
• Work in a cross-functional service team consisting of software engineers, DevOps, and other specialists
