A decentralized finance protocol in Paris is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to lead user-facing features and work collaboratively within a remote-friendly team. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and is eager to learn about Web3. This role offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to a significant DeFi project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in frontend development, especially with React, Next.js, TypeScript, CSS, and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend testing (e.g. Playwright, Cypress).
• Clear, collaborative communicator — both written and verbal (English).
• Experience working in a team using tickets, sprints, and pull requests.
• A mindset of humility, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Morpho is experiencing explosive growth, with over $9 billion in assets supplied on the protocol, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. What You’ll Do

Build & Ship Features

Take ownership of user-facing features — from design to implementation to refinement.

Write clear, well-structured code with strong documentation so everyone on the team can understand and contribute.

Ensure a smooth, fast, and accessible experience for users by optimizing performance and reliability.

Make thoughtful design and technical choices — and share the “why” behind them.

Participate in peer code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning.

Work closely with product designers and researchers to bring powerful ideas to life — and offer your own perspective too.

Help break down complex specs into actionable tasks and keep communication clear and constructive.

Share your strengths with teammates, and be open to learning from theirs. We grow together.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Experience

• 5+ years in frontend development, especially with React, Next.js, TypeScript, CSS, and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend testing (e.g. Playwright, Cypress).

• Interested in Web3/crypto and excited to explore it professionally.

• Familiarity with libraries like Viem, Wagmi — or excited to learn them.
