SoftProject group in Lyon is seeking a senior frontend developer to shape the product and its architecture, focusing on frontend features and occasional backend tasks. You will design interfaces, drive microfrontend decisions, and define component boundaries to deliver robust user experiences.

Experience in React, UI/UX, and agile environments is essential, with strong English and French communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Significant experience building rich user interfaces.
• Strong React expertise including: Component architecture, State management, Performance optimization and Testing strategies
• Ability to independently design frontend architectures and define application boundaries
• Strong sense for UI/UX and product usability
• Experience working in agile product organizations
• Professional English and French communication skills

Responsabilités

• Design and develop new product features, primarily in the frontend and occasionally in backend services.
• Contribute to architectural decisions around our microfrontend landscape.
• Define boundaries, interface contracts, shared components and deployment strategies.
• Drive high-quality user experiences across complex configuration, modelling and data visualization screens.
• Collaborate closely with Product and challenge requirements constructively.
• Influence technical direction rather than simply implementing specifications.
• Improve and maintain existing products including Java/Spring applications.
• Develop understanding of customer use cases and business processes.
• Help ensure reliability in business-critical systems.
