Job summary

LRQA is seeking a Lead Assessor to verify management systems in the food sector across France and abroad. You will audit against IFS Food/BRC Food, acting as an expert to advance client food safety practices with rigorous methods and clear recommendations.

The role involves travel, client collaboration, and delivering high-quality service from Lyon or Paris offices. Fluency in English and French is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in the food industry (process and/or technology).
• Adequate working experience in quality management and food safety in the food sector.
• Qualification for auditing in IFS Food/ BRC Food.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience (in relation to food production & technology) in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Verify management systems in the food industry, individually or in a team.
• Examine and assess the implementation of a management system for clients.
• Contribute to improvement of a client’s overall food management system and provide high-quality service.
