Amcor Flexibles Sélestat seeks an Extrusion Coating Expert Engineer to lead development, industrialization, and optimization of extrusion coating formulations and processes for pharmaceutical, food, and technical markets.

You will report to the Technical Manager and collaborate with Production, R&D, Quality, and Procurement to qualify new materials and improve performance and cost efficiency. This is a senior engineering role in a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years in formulation development, extrusion, or polymer processing.
• Strong knowledge of resins, polymers, and raw materials for converting or plastics.
• Solid understanding of extrusion and compounding equipment.
• Proficient with analytical techniques such as FTIR, DSC, rheology, spectroscopy.

Responsabilités

• Lead development, industrialization, and optimization projects for extrusion coating processes.
• Develop and optimize formulations, resins, and raw materials to improve technical performance, product quality, and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise to Production, R&D, Quality, and Procurement teams on extrusion coating processes, formulations, and materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers and Procurement to identify, qualify, and implement new raw materials.
• Manage qualification projects for new materials, validate industrial trials, and monitor performance.
• Monitor developments in extrusion coating processes, polymers, and materials to drive innovation.
