Job summary

Next Ventures in Clermont-Ferrand is seeking a Senior Embedded C++ Software Engineer to support a strategic automotive software initiative. The role combines hands-on embedded C++ development with contributions to Automotive SPICE deployment and ISO 26262 activities, onsite with one remote day per week.

Responsibilities include transforming algorithms into robust C++ software, defining software requirements and architecture, and driving SWE practices with traceability and reviews.

Qualifications

Senior automotive embedded software engineer with strong C++ skills.
Practical experience with Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262.
Experience with model-based development, MATLAB/Simulink, MISRA, ALM tools, ADAS or SEooC is a plus.
Professional English required; French strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Transform algorithms and model-based designs into robust, testable C++ software.
Contribute to software requirements, architecture, implementation, integration and verification.
Strengthen ASPICE practices, including SWE.1-SWE.6, traceability, reviews and engineering evidence.
Support software-level ISO 26262 activities and safety-related work products.
Work closely with our customer engineering teams onsite in Clermont-Ferrand.
