A luxury womenswear brand is seeking a talented Freelance Designer to join their design team. This position entails developing capsule collections and working closely with various functions of the business. Key responsibilities include trend presentations, initiating design processes, and collaborating with international fabric suppliers. Strong experience in fashion creativity with delicate fabrics, excellent CAD skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Frequent travel to the Far East is required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in sophisticated fashion creativity working with delicate fabrics.
• Ability to generate creative briefs effectively.
• Good knowledge of China factories.

Responsabilités

• Present trends and commercially identify fabric/styles.
• Initiate design and development from concept to production.
• Conduct comparative shop reports and analyze fashion trends.
• Travel internationally for Trade Exhibitions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, buyers, and technologists.

Our client, a luxury womenswear brands is recruiting for a talented and creative Freelance Designer to join their created design team working with the design and development for a Luxury brand. This key position will be reporting to the CEO, developing and designing capsule collections (2 per season) working closely with all functions of the business with frequent development trips to India and the Far East.

Strong experience in sophisticated fashion creativity working with delicate fabrics such as silks, and woven / Jersey dresses with China factory knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Trend presentations to senior level, commercially identifying fabric / styles appropriate to the business
• Confidently initiate the design and development from concept to production
• Undertake regular comparative shop reports and fashion trends
• International travel including Trade Exhibitions
• Working closely with fabric suppliers, buyers and technologists to create commercial products.
• Ability to work effectively in generating creative briefs.
