Job summary

Decathlon Digital is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Demand and Assortment Planning team within Supply Chain. You will develop AI models for production in forecasting and assortment planning and provide insights to optimise decisions.

Expertise in time series forecasting and Generative AI is highly valued. You will work with cross-functional teams, translate complex data into actionable recommendations, and stay at the forefront of industry trends and technologies to improve forecast

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, statistical modelling, or related fields.
• Strong experience with time series forecasting and demand planning.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Analyse historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand.
• Develop statistical models and ML algorithms for forecast and assortment planning.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Product teams to align Data/AI efforts.
• Evaluate and improve forecasting models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate insights through clear data visualisations and presentations.
• Stay updated on trends in data science and supply chain analytics.
