Job summary

Plume is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to lead and grow ML/LLM projects within its open, hardware-independent platform for ISPs and subscribers. You will transform large telemetry data into production-ready models, design feature engineering strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and monitor solutions.

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with core data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Solid SQL skills for querying, aggregating, and joining complex datasets.
• Proven ability to transform messy, high-volume data into structured, high-quality inputs for modeling.
• Deep understanding of feature extraction, selection, and transformation for predictive modeling.
• Strong grasp of statistics, probability, and applied machine learning.
• Ability to scope requirements and deliver high-quality results on tight timelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across engineering, product, and data functions.
• Experience in AWS cloud services (Sagemaker, S3).

• Manipulate, clean, and transform large-scale datasets of network and device telemetry for modeling and analysis.
• Design and implement feature engineering strategies to improve model accuracy and robustness.
