Doctolib is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the AI Team to empower the AI Medical Companion by shaping scalable data foundations for safe, compliant models across Europe. You will design and optimize data pipelines, ensure high-quality data, and collaborate with ML and platform squads to support training, evaluation, and deployment of AI systems.

With 5+ years in data engineering, you will leverage GCP and Python/SQL to build robust data architectures for RAG and embeddings, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably supporting AI or ML workloads.
• Strong experience with the GCP data ecosystem and proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Deep understanding of NoSQL systems (e.g., MongoDB) and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Vector Search).
• Experience designing data architectures for RAG, embeddings, or model training pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance for sensitive data.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP for AI use cases.
• Implement data ingestion and transformation for LLMs and multimodal models.
• Architect NoSQL and vector databases for embeddings and documents.
• Define data schemas, partitioning, and governance rules for privacy and reliability.
• Integrate unstructured and structured data into unified AI-ready models.
• Improve data pipelines’ cost and performance with GCP services.
• Contribute to data quality and lineage frameworks for auditable datasets.
