ThalesAEC in Toulouse is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to lead the design and certification of avionics cybersecurity products. You will oversee the Secure Gateway initiatives and act as the primary cyber interface with regulators, guiding architecture, roadmap, and next-generation concepts.

You will coordinate research efforts, mentor engineers, and conduct training sessions within AEC to disseminate cyber expertise across teams.

Qualifications

Extensive experience as a Technical Leader with cybersecurity accountability in avionics development.
Ability to design secure architectures for safety-critical aviation systems.
In-depth knowledge of ED-202 / ED-203 Aerospace Cybersecurity framework.
Proficiency in threat modelling & risk assessments (EBIOS RM, RIME).
Strong understanding of security technologies: firewalls, IDS, PKI, encryption, vulnerability management.
Understanding of aircraft architectures and avionics buses (ARINC 429, AFDX) and maintenance.
Experience with Zero Trust, aircraft domain segregation, and secure-by-design principles.

Responsabilités

Lead Cybersecurity Architect for the development of cyber products, including Secure Gateway solutions.
Main cyber interface to regulators for certification of new products.
Cybersecurity Authority (CSA) for Thales Aerospace Communications.
Definition of the Cyber product roadmap, along with the Engineering Director.
Lead preparation of next generation cyber architectures (new products, aircraft integration).
Lead research / advanced projects for Cyber solutions & functions.
Provide training sessions within AEC to share Cyber expertise.
