EGIDE in the Paris region is hiring a Senior Hardware Designer & Mechanical Engineer – Counter-UAS to take ownership of the mechanical and hardware architecture of its interceptor systems. You will design and validate from first principles, ensuring integration with propulsion, avionics and guidance, and you will lead robust mechanical solutions for high-performance defense hardware.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• Proven experience in high-performance hardware design.
• Ability to architect and justify mechanical systems, not just drawings.
• Strong CAD skills and simulation/test integration experience.

Responsabilités

• Define and own the mechanical architecture of Counter-UAS interceptor systems.
• Translate system requirements into robust mechanical designs and interfaces.
• Model, simulate and validate structures under flight and environmental loads.
• Collaborate with propulsion, avionics, and guidance teams for integrated solutions.
• Support prototype builds, test campaigns and failure analysis with design authority.
• Ensure mechanical designs meet mass, stiffness and durability targets.
